Final Assemble

On Dec. 3, 2007 we ordered a 66 Roadster Stretch from Innovative Street Machines, LLC., alias Auto Resolution, LTD., alias StreetBeasts of Miami, Flordia.  This is StreetBeasts version of the Cobra.  The Stretch has a 98 inch wheel base where the standard version is 90 inches.  We gave StreetBeasts a $5,000.00 deposit.  The body and frame was delivered on May 1, 2008, 5 months later.

On Dec. 12, 2007, we ordered a 427/351w engine from Jon Barrett.  This is a small block Ford engine bored out to 427 cu. in. with a Quick Fuel Carburetor, Cobra Valve Covers and Cobra Air Cleaner.  We brought the engine home, without the air cleaner and valve covers, on May 22, 2007.  The Cobra Valve Covers and Cobra Air Cleaner arrived a month later.  You may notice some pictures having loaner valve covers that were later replaced with Cobra Valve Covers.

On Jan. 22, 2008, we ordered a TKO-600 from Blumenthal.    This is a Tremec 5 Speed Transmission.  The TKO-600 is rated for 600 ft lbs of torque.  The transmission was pickup from Blumenthal on Jan. 29, 2008, 7 days later.
