Final Assemble

The fuel tank is one of the items that came in the kit from StreetBeasts.  The manual that was provided from StreetBeasts refered to a very different fuel tank then the one that was sent.  We had to call StreetBeasts and ask then for information about how to mount the tank.

This is a picture of the fuel sender and the sender hole in the tank.  The hole in the tank was too small, so we had to enlarge the hole about 1/8 inch and then drill and tap the mounting holes.  After we finish cutting out the holes, we vacuum out the tank.

Before plugging the hole with the sender we looked through it to verify which line was the vent line and marked it.

Then the tank was mounted using 5 x 5/16 carriage bolts.

Note:  Remember NOT to use lock washers or lock nuts at this time, because later, everything will have to be removed from the frame in order to powder coat it.
