As always the SB Manual was very little help.
We made a marked every 4 inches and installed the snaps.
We used a 17/64 hole punch I got from Tandy Leather.
We measured 7/8 inch from the edge and made a hole.
Next we placed the back plate of the snap over the hole and using a hobby knife made 4 cuts for the snap tangs to come through.
Here we are pushing the tangs through the cuts.
Here you can see the tangs coming through the back plate.
Here Clint is prebending the tang over a little.
He then finish bending the tang with a small hammer.
Next we'll work on the windshield.
