We did not like the way the body sat on the frame as it came from StreetBeast.  The body touches the frame across the rear edge of the frame, just behind the gas tank.

Then it also pivots on the firewall.

This causes the rear floor of the body to be 3/4 inch above the frame.  To fill this gap, we welded 1 x 2 inch tubing to the top of the frame.

This brought the frame up to the body nicely, so now the floor of the body will rest on the frame.

This modification also raised the nose of the body because the body pivots on the firewall.  This gave us more clearance for the hood above the engine and radiator.
